Blessed.

This past week God’s continually reminded me of how truly blessed I am. My life is one crazy, fast-paced, exciting adventure and I’ve learned that I truly need to love and appreciate the blessings I’ve received. I have had so many wonderful opportunities throughout my life, many of which are rare and unexperienced by many, but I rarely stop to think about how fortunate and blessed I am for all I’ve received, all I’ve done, and all I’ve experienced. Right now, I am blessed to be in San Francisco. I’m blessed that my family loves me. I’m blessed by my friends. I’m blessed to live in a house full of believers. I’m blessed to be working at YWAM with some incredible people. I’m blessed more than I’ll ever know or understand.
The Lord is teaching me some wonderful things, which are being reinforced by my time and investment in YWAM and the people there. I love my internship a lot, and have a hard time considering it ‘work’ or ‘a job’ because it is so fun and so filling. I guess a major lesson I’m learning is to acknowledge how blessed I truly am.

“I’m blessed.
God knows I’m blessed.
As I look all around me,
I realize I’m blessed.”
So moving on to what I’ve been up to…

Last week was all GIANTS all week long. The past 3 days? …all YWAM all weekend long. I cooked for an MA team at the YWAM base, so I had a lot of free time to hang out with staff and DTS students. We watched movies, talked for hours, had a bonfire, and tonight they all came over for dinner. I had a really fun weekend ‘working’ and getting to know a lot of them better.
